My favorite Albums

(not in order)

Illmatic - Nas

Even if you ignore Premo's premimum beatmaking skills, Nas's delivery and social impact; Nas's Poetry alone puts Illmatic in my top 10

Favorite song: It ain't hard to tell

Madvilliany - MF DOOM

MF DOOM, has been and still is a elusive figure. The villianous cohesive theme glues together, H O T meaningful flows with sharp rhymeschemes.

Favorite song: Great Day

4 o'clock in the afternoon - Chase petra

Chase petra's emotional lyrical songwriting style is iconic! There are few bands that can summon that level of emotional energy so easily within me. As well as being a innovative and horizon-broadening band. Rooted in the band "Better Heros", Hunter and Evan have evolved so much sonically without falling short of previous quality instead always improving!

Favorite song: Pacific

Make room - Destory boys

Punk rock.
An iconic sound, queercore and killer to dance to. Destory boys sonically is everything I love about punk rock. A splash of pop, loud drums (loud everything) with dramatic delivery and writing to boot. It is my absolute favorite album to dance to in my bedroom :p
Their newest album is also super good!

Favorite song - American river

A Fever You Can't Sweat Out - P!ATD

A pop emo punk rock classic, but unfortunatly the band turned to goo over the years. This is argubably one of the greatest albums of all time though. There arent any bad songs, sticks to the theme/idea without going too far off the beaten path without being redudant either. Also fucking killer album to dance to, has some karaoke classics too.

Favorite Song: Nails for Breakfast, Tacks for Snacks

Draining Love Story - SewerSlvt

A tripedatious life that is clearly represented in their music. No lyrics, only drums and synth that bang. I love how intense of an emotion can be painted without the use of language or complicated melodies.

Favorite song: Ecifircas

Metaphorical Music - Nujabes

A beautiful convergence of soul and hiphop, some of the greatest beats with lovely lyrics. Sampling of the hands of god. AN ABSOLUTE MUST LISTEN.

Favorite song: Lady Brown

Where the Heart is - Sweet Pill

Emo math rock? Regardless of the offical genre, you endulge in intricate drums and tasty guitar licks; and of course the vocalist belts emotional lyrics. What else can you ask for?

Favorite song: Sometimes

Black On Both Sides - Mos Def

Quintessential political rap. You cannot call yourself a hiphop head without listening to Mos Def. He is hip hop.

Favorite song: Mathematics

NO THANK YOU - Little Simz

Little Simz is what every modern rap artist should strive to be, a deliverer of a message. Every song is clearly thought out, and there are little to no throwaway lines.

Favorite song: Heart on Fire
